Jesus predicted a time of great distress preceding His coming and the end of the age (Mtt. 24:3, 9, 21). We explore the Jewish aspects of this time period as the fulfillment of Daniel's seventieth week, a time referred to by Jeremiah as the time of Jacob's trouble (Jer. 30:7) in which the Jews come to recognize Jesus as their Messiah in preparation for the millennial kingdom to follow.
