Failure to Deal With Sin in the Church
(1 Corinthians 5:1-13) Here Paul provides another example of the arrogance of the Corinthians. He discusses the obvious sin of one Corinthian believer, and he explains the sin of the church in not taking action in the case. Paul then outlines corrective actions for the sin of the individual as well as the sin of the church, and he clarifies his instructions to them in a previous letter. |
